Grand Haven High School is hosting a one-day conference, MUNGHOL I, on Saturday, December 15. Although it's coming up fast, you can still sign up for this one; we're looking for a couple more schools. It will include a general assembly (DISEC) on nuclear proliferation, a historical body (Gorbachev's cabinet), a contemporary Security Council on Myanmar, and -- great practice for the big conferences! -- a crisis committee, which will be a Joint Crisis on Irish independence from the UK post-WWI. We're very excited about it, and we'd love to have you along. Cost will $10 per student, no school fee, with provided bagels in the AM. Lunch is BYO brown bag, and the conference will run from 8:30 AM (registration) to about 4:15 PM. While we're marketing this more to west-side schools that are under-served by local opportunities, we would welcome any school interested in attending, and any delegation size is welcome.
