Form:   Personal essay of 400-800 words
Due:     Submit by October 31st, 2025

Award:  Cash award of $100-$500 announced at SEMMUNA XXX

  • Entries must be written by a senior student (Class of 2026) who is attending or has attended SEMMUNA.
  • Submit essay by  email to [email protected] and include the information listed below in the body of the email:
  1. Your Full Name
  2. Your School's Name
  3. Your Adviser's Name
  4. What SEMMUNA or other Model UN events you have attended before  
  • The essay should focus on the personal impact participating in Model UN has had on you, DO NOT FOCUS ON:
  1. Awards you have won at MUN Events
  2. Awards your Team has won
  • The body of the essay should be free of all identifying marks: do not include your name, school, adviser name, conferences attended, etc.  Write only about the experience/impact.
